Evaluation and other task for website design

 I researched Walt Disney and his characters, and made my own fashion style for them when I did my research on fashion artist I chose a designer who can relate to cartoon/animation characters I think I made the right choose in doing so because I am basing my website on Disney and fashion . This website I have designed and created is for any Disney lover especially to the younger viewers or to people who may remember Disney when I made them in addition Disney and fashion the reason why I have chosen to mix these to hot topics together was to get the viewers attention there is more to Disney and fashion when you when combined them together so I thought of ways I could have given the few selected characters a new outfit and it worked out.  In my planning I stated I will be using Photoshop only so my website will not be a working one, using traditional pen and paper to redraw Disney characters. My successes were being able to using the most comfortable programme that I could, which is Photoshop; I am very successful in redrawing the characters Daisy, Minnie, Goofy and Donald. I did use tracing paper for the outline for each characters then filled in the rest myself, I would defiantly use Photoshop again because I have more confidences in using that programme particularly, I would still keep to traditional paper and pen/pencil to create my own style of drawing not anyone else’s to avoid copyright My research had a huge impact on what my website was about especially on the Disney characters, and fashion research I selected one famous clothing designer in addition the colours I would change the way I redraw the characters of Disney, more research needed for my website, use a better programme instead of Photoshop something more suitable for the task given to me e.g. Flash or maybe Dreamweaver I learned that this task was quite hard to begin without because I constantly think inside the box and never outside it, once I get on the ball I start creating more ideas of what I could of made my website about in addition I think I have chosen a really hard one because of copyright e.g..Adapted more skills and confidences in using Photoshop, my drawing skills have improved slightly. The fact I have based it on the of the world memorable iconic characters to ever exist. I would change it to something else if I could go back and redo this task I would change it. To my style animation fashion world so I’m not abusing someone else’s creations. In addition I have learned to never select Disney or anything that world famous again especially for a website. I would my signature as an artist to be using traditional paper and pen then transforming it in to a digital vision for all to see and recognize me as an artist. Overall I am very happy with progress I have achieved in making this non working website and with creating thinking outside the box as well as inside the box.

[Image][Image]I have decided to stick building my website on photo shop as I'm still learning the basics of flash and dreamweaver, this is the main page I still need to work on it a bit more but this is what it will look like minus the darken top as you can clearly see, I have hand drawn all my characters but needed the basic out line of them so i used google images for each one, But I have changed what they are wearing to brighter or darker colour to what they normally would wear,

Guerrilla advertizing research

It's something you would see in every building of every day even if you don't see it you automaticly know what to do, walk don't panic, don't run.

something you know you want but the design of this advert for pepsi is something you wouldn't expect to see some ones hand comming out of a drain. for a tastey drink. Good use of colour and presentation.

Something you would expect but in the conpect of being very well done the darken colours and how the wording is correct i like the way they have put the face over the car exsource with smoke blowing out of it, very well thourght of.

Hand drawings

I will be using my own creative style to recreate the characters of Disney

A3 scanner

Using the A3 scanner to scan them in to my computer save them to local D drive

The Ark at Widewell Primary School

I'm basing my personal project on Widewell primary school the Ark they are a social/youth club/ after school clubs, the reason why they do this is so parents have enough time after they have finished work to pick their child/children up and to get the creative mind more creative I have permission to do this website from Jenn Collings and Barbara young the head mistress of the school to use them as my personal project I am still doing basic research on what they do their to keep the school children, They have their own website on inter web  quote “The Ark Project aims to encourage a greater sense of community and belonging in the area served by the school and to provide support to individual families. All are welcome to come into the Family Room situated in Widewell Primary School.” From the website I have met the team at Widewell primary school and I have seen some of the stuff they do to keep the project up and running and the views from the children and they’re very happy with the creative and construction progress they get on with in the two hours. http://www.arkcommunity.org.uk/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=48&Itemid=56

They also do things for parents to help them out adults and toddlers, internet cafe, credit union, crafts club, strider running club and the newest one is Widewell weigh in its a slimming group for a one pound to help adults with after having a baby or you just want to lose the weight. The people who support People and groups who meet regularly to develop the Ark Community Project include:

Xbox Game Farm Racers

Scenes:

The farm yard will be for level one. The barn yard will be for level two with a few objects flying in to your animal that are racing around. The farm yard again but with flying objects going to try and daze your animal and lifeless objects on the floor, dodge the holes in the floor.  Woods will be for the last few levels with more flying objects and more floor obstacles,

Animals:

Cat, Dog and Duck are level one,

Chicken, goose and Turkey are level two,

Donkey, Sheep and Pig are level three,

Goat, Ram and Cow are level four,

Horse, Bull, Llama is level five.

Gain a Barn Owl

Strengths:  getting extra energy on every race you compete in.  Gain new experience hear feedback from the commentators racing your animals and gain new animals to train and look after them med them back to health

Weaknesses:

Getting hit by any of the objects around the farm and barn. Will decrease your energy via being daze for no longer than five seconds,

Food and boost:

Hay, straw, fruit e.g.  Apples, pears,   Vegetables e.g. carrots, tomatoes, cabbage, lettuce, broccoli 

This game is single and multi player, It's very basic and simple for young ages to understand the game and the game play they will mainly be attracted to the colours and the animals and funny noises on the game

I have wrote this brief to let you know more information about our game we are designing and briefing up I think its a good idea for younger gamers to understand how to use the controller and hand and eye accordinartion skills, learning the animals and noise's they own. I think it's a good idea to start of learning development.

The research for this task wasn't easy as we had to do 5-10 year old so my group improvised on building up an idea by ourself, What makes a X box game memorable is the graphics, special effects the quest that need to be done then handed back in to the quest giver fighting huge subnormal size creatures that we would never see in real life the impact stays in our minds so get these crazy ideas for our own games or game designs 

Evaluation 

For our first part of ideas and concepts Unit we where the given the task to create a new Xbox game idea and design characters for it to give a presentation. This covered many criteria in our brief therefore was quite an important mini project for us. 

at first the group was all right but as we got in to this important mini project we had no communication between us and it wasn't going to well, we had a great idea for our mini project for this task but nothing was getting done between us then Billy and James decided to make me team leader which I did not want to be because I get very nervous bossing people around for that matter. If I could restart this task again I would change the way we all were to each other something I learned in a team there is a leader and a co-leader to provide information about what the idea is about and get a picture to sell to the company buying it.

 we were not the strongest of groups doing our presentation I did most of the talking about the plan and idea of our game and it didn't go very well at all this idea fell through, the idea was to race animals and level them up and upgrade to better animals the basic idea was out there and the rest of it went very badly

I am planning on taking rub markings of different types of suffuses of walls floors doors stairs some one shoe and using a A3 scanner to scan in my work then add them my blog and adapt why I have chosen this as my main capture and how i will come around doing this technique to improve my method of capture
